Asia, Europe, South America---I really want to go to Japan (see video) and Spain (see video). They are both beautiful and fascinating. These are my top two destinations.
The others are:
I love Lonely Planet’s website. It is a great site for planning your trip most anywhere in the world. They give you a lot of information on what to do and what to know about the countries that you will be visiting. It is always best to learn the language of the country that you will be visiting beforehand. I know that I would like to know, even just a little, what they are saying to me. I can't afford a translator. :o) Imagine how much that would cost???! LOL!
Traveling In Our Current Economy
I’ve done some digging around the web to check out how we can make the most of our hard-earned dollars. Many people think that traveling in our current economy that it will be harder to afford a nice vacation. On the contrary, many travel agencies, airlines, hotels, tours and such are lowering their rates to attract more customers. It will be a very competitive market. In fact, the best way to get the most of your money is to go on an all-inclusive vacation, per Peter Greenberg, a travel expert. His site is PeterGreenberg.com.
Here are some articles for you to check out:

I suggest watching the Travel Channel Network. It is very informative and entertaining. I like most of the shows, but the two shows that I admire most are Anthony Bourdain - No Reservations and Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern. These two shows feature exotic cities around the world combining great foods that could either satisfy or scar your palette. Both these shows are still my favorite to watch.
One of the sites listed is besttripchoices.com. This site has a travel personality quiz that one takes and it provides a list of destinations based on your personality. It is like Match.com but for travel. Another great site to go to is triphobo.com. It has a travel destination, planning, and reviews for your trip. I think if many people do travel this year, depending on their income and savings, it will help boost our economy. It helps people get jobs.
Please visit the U.S. Department of State travel site at https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en.html.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is also a great site to check on health status when traveling. With the current swine flu epidemic going on, it is a must to view this site.
I will have more info soon. Until then, make it a better day.

Oh yes, I would like to spend a couple of months in Spain. And at least one month would be in Barcelona. But I don't like that website - it is too slow, I liked this one better: http://www.justspain.org/ If you hear of any good road bike trips in Spain while you are looking through travel sites be sure to pass that info on.
Thanks Judy. I will change it to that site. It is faster and looks very informative. I to am thinking of Barcelona and Ibiza.
Are there going to be any good buys while the economy is upside down?
Many people think that traveling in this time of economy crisis that it will be harder to afford a nice vacation. On the contrary, many travel agencies, airlines, hotels, tours and such are lowering their rates to attract more customers. I will update my blog and add this topic.

Hi Pannipa. Maybe we should all plan a trip to Japan at the end of the year. Like in Europe, they have hostels but it is more like a bed and breakfast. That would be fun. Have you taken Japanese in CSN? I really recommend that. The Senseis are very nice and helpful. Douzo.
